We have opened our 57th preschool in Elazığ!
Emphasizing that she has not forgotten — and will never let others forget — the February 6th earthquake, Gülben Ergen marked the conclusion of the “11 Preschools in 11 Disaster Zones” project with the opening of a new preschool in Elazığ.
In the early days following the earthquake, she immediately took to the field, visiting Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, and other disaster-stricken regions. As the founder and president of the Çocuklar Gülsün Diye Association, she has continuously supported earthquake victims through various platforms. Staying true to her word, Gülben Ergen proudly announced that they surpassed the initial goal of the project by opening 15 preschools, providing hope and education to children in the most affected areas of our country.
Gülben Ergen expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Yıldız Family for their generous support. She also announced that the construction of the 58th preschool of the association is currently underway and will be opened in the coming months in Bayburt, named in honor of Ahmet Minguzzi.
The opening ceremony was attended by Elazığ Deputy Governor Mr. Armağan Yazıcı, Association President Gülben Ergen, Baskil District Governor Mr. Hasan Hüsnü Türker, Baskil Mayor Mr. Tuncer Turus, Provincial Director of National Education Mr. Mehmet Yiğit, District Director of National Education Mr. Fatih Mehmet Tanyıldızı, and other members of the state protocol. Following the ceremony, the Çocuklar Gülsün Diye Sevgi Yıldız Preschool, which has been donated to the Ministry of National Education, will provide education to approximately 100 students.
